Short, sweet, to the point, FREE-exactly as inforamiton should be!
You had said certain images make you feel as a human like you have a place in this world, Matt, do you think this is a common motivation for people in art, we are looking for comfort and for an element we can related to?
Matt – what is the relationship between resistance to what is, for example being annoyed at bad weather when you want to shoot – and getting good images. Can you comment on the saying what you resist, persists?
I think you can still be a “hunter” type shooter (excuse the word choice) and if you don’t see the shot, you can always put it down and enjoy the environment rather than just shooting to shoot.
Great point Matt – I never thought about the “words” we use about the action of photography – I think I will start using your words now of creating or making images – THANKS!
nature is my church!!
