Peter talks to talented, Australian photographer, Denis Smith about his journey into photography which was a stepping stone in reconnecting with his inner purpose and his unusual method of light painting spheres.

Do you sell your images and if so, are they online or in a gallery?

Do you do your shooting alone? How do you not trip finding sites to make your spheres, it looks pretty dark when you’re out there! Obviously, you use a flashlight but it still looks pretty easy to step off a cliff! Also, how do you decide where the spheres go? Do you sketch it out in advance?

Peter and Denis talk about how Denis creates his unique "balls of light" imagery in South Australia. They talk about Denis' journey from numbing his life with alcohol and workaholism to living life to its fullest and embracying photography. It is an emotional journey and during the episode Peter plays a short film Denis' has created about his transformation. I think it would be super cool if you could have some kind of lights on your jacket so that the spheres could have almost an inner glow with a different color.

What an inspirational video, it seems to me that it wasn’t so much that you decided to stop drinking it was that you no longer wanted to numb yourself because you wanted the maximum amount of consciousness to enjoy this whole you life that you became aware of.
